Can Legal Docs provides automated document templates only. You answer questions and our software generates a draft document from your answers.

We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Nothing on this site creates a lawyer–client relationship.
Have a lawyer review your document
Before signing, sending, or relying on any generated document, you must have it reviewed by a licensed lawyer in your province.
No guarantees
We make no guarantee of the accuracy, completeness, or legal enforceability of any template or generated document. Laws change and every situation is different.
You assume the risk
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. You assume all risk for using the documents, including any loss, cost, or dispute arising from their use.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the site or the documents is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CanLegal Docs and its owner and operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the site or documents, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on this site.
Unlawful use is prohibited
You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose, upload unlawful content, or present the service as legal advice or as a law firm.
Payments
Single-document purchases are charged once. Subscription plans (monthly or yearly) bill automatically each billing period until you cancel — you can cancel anytime from your Account page and keep access until the end of the paid period. All payments are processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store your card details. See our Refund Policy page for refund terms.
Refunds
If your generated document contains material errors or defects, you may request a refund within 7 days of payment through our contact page. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. No refund is available for a change of mind after a successful download.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada.
